The ZX Spectrum in the 21st Century? website created by Tarjan Richard Gabor catalogues hardware and software released since production of the Spectrum range ceased, and includes a page displaying the same photograph rendered using different graphic techniques / modes. Some of these are achievable on a standard Spectrum but many can only be produced from enhanced Spectrum clone computers. Included on the page are all of the attribute modes provided by the SPECTRA interface, and this nicely allows their different capabilities to be compared.

A review/demo of the SPECTRA attribute modes has been created by Miguel Angel and can be found on YouTube. The video shows a large selection of images converted to display using the 8x1 DE attribute mode.

A video review of SPECTRA has been created by Gerhard Jungsberger on YouTube. Note that the review is in German.

A video showing a comparision between the picture quality from SPECTRA RGB output, composite output and RF output is available on YouTube.
